This jar contains everything you need to dye 50g of wool red using plant dyes, including instructions.

In the jar you will find:

• 50g washed Spaelsau wool for dogma knitting
• 5g alum (mordant)
• 40g madder root

• 1.5 L clip-top jar

Solar dyeing is typically done in the summer, when the sun's heat can be utilized. However, it can also be done in winter by placing the jar near a wood-burning stove or on a radiator. Solar dyeing is a gentle process that takes between three and five weeks – you remove the wool when it has reached the desired color <3
