The shepherd's vest

The shepherd's vest is a simple vest with a hood, knitted in stockinette stitch back and forth.

The vest is started from the bottom, knitted up to the neckline, and then knitted down again. Stitches are picked up around the neckline to knit a hood. Finally, strings are attached to all four corners, allowing the vest to be tied at both the front and back.
